The Unloader - A Nokia E66 And E71 Campaign

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

In a new campaign WOM World / Nokia are targeting at their latest Eseries Devices Nokia E71 and E66 promotion through an exciting way. The campaign as usual is not different from the previous campaigns Nokia had undertaken and the part that they become really popular is what drives them. On a personal note I really love these and would really want to be a part of the next one ;) . This one is yet again off the hook and is totally amazing. The Unloader as the name suggests is a campaign that allows you to get rid of those boring files, memos, spreadsheets etc. in a very killer way. Something similar I posted about dismantelling your mobile devices before you give them up for recycling :)

Nokia N79 On Sale In India

Friday, October 31st, 2008

Nokia has finally made it official. The announcement came yesterday and as expected before of what was earlier anticipated of the Indian launch of its Nokia N79 mobile phone. (We reported the support pages of Nokia N79 had gone up on the Indian Side which gave us a hint on its launch.) This is great news as the sleekest Nseries to date finally has come out to play. The new device features an FM transmitter, AGPS voice navigation, high-speed web browsing, a 5 MPS camera and dual LED flash. The N79 is also equipped with a 4 GB microSD card capable of storing over 3000 songs. We also did a quick comparison of N79 with N85 which can be found here and we are now gearing up for the complete review.

Motorola’s Rocking - Nokia’s Comes With Music Can Wait

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

The post I did on Voice Guided Navigation in India which was launched by Motorola that came bundled with the New Motoming A1600, got a few Motorola fans to mail me that Nokia is not the only one Rocking. They also mailed me a whole lot of promotional material that Motorola is undertaking here in India. To be honest I was amazed with the power packed services Motorola has been bringing to India. Although I still believe that a whole lot of improvement can be made but there is one service that I really liked. So do check it out as I am a big fan of that service and above all it will help us to Stop Music Piracy.

As we still wait for Nokia to launch their Comes With Music Service here in India which has just sprouted in the UK made me feel that for getting your favourite music on mobile we would have to wait a little more. But when I took a little stroll down with the Motorola’s Music Service my perception was completely changed. I really liked the interface although still browser based and requires IE 6 + cause of the DRM protected media but still it harboured a huge collection which was more focused on the Indian segment. Yes, there you can find a whole lot of Indian Music Collection and that too at a very good price.

What’s the Catch?

Nokia N96 Virus Is Out - Go Get Infected

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

I just couldn’t resist writing about this. Charlie our friend over at Nokia Converations has come up with a very creative idea to see what goes in a the daily life of a device when it travels from place to place. Well the inspiration for this came from a couple of movies but to actually see this idea materialize now would sure have made Charlie a proud man. Special thanks to Ben too for fitting all the pieces together. So what are we looking at; well, is it a new virus, that is quickly spreading and making people addicted; may be yes but simply a Nokia N96 on a World Tour.

Waiting at DHL to fly off to the UK
