Well, my buddy Phat^Trance over at DailyMobile has brought us a very interesting news that now you can get rid of the menu icon on Nokia N95 with firmware v30.0.015 Following are a screen captures of the before and after transition effects for you to take a look and a guide on how to do this. I still have to try this as yet.
I luckily had an opportunity to try out the Nokia N95 8GB and had just received the DHL courier and the first thing I did was to shoot a video of unboxing it. I also clicked some pictures which can be glanced up here. I have also compared the build of the device with Nokia N82 for you guys. I’ll shortly compare the camera of N95 8GB with the N82. And we will also feature the iPhone vs E71 in the coming days, so stay tuned.
Hi friends, I had just received a Nokia N95 8GB which I feel is the 8th wonder of 21st century. Hats off to the great minds behind this device who had worked god knows how may hours to give this world an amazing smartphone. No wonder the dual slide concept has made waves all over with the new devices like N96 and N85 following its lead. I recently clicked a few pictures of the device and am happy to share them with you all. There’s lot more to come. Waiting for our feedback. (Click pictures for larger view)
I know a lot of us do have the high end Nokia phones that come with an inbuilt GPS and the Nokia Maps Software but we have hardly explored it. The same was with me until lately when I accidently opened the application and gave it a shot. So after using it for about a month today I finally sat down to write about it in detail. Now it was an intentional accident and I’m glad it happened as I was on vacation being unfamiliar with the neighbourhood made me feel a little insecure. Simply, you feel more in place when you know your way around and professionally it saves you a lot of time. So here is a Real Time Experience of Nokia Maps & GPS bundled together to see if the Navigation is worth or just another money minting technique by Nokia.
One of our readers Ashish came across a very special video and he wanted us to share with you all. Check out this video in which Nokia N95 is in an all touch screen interface. We saw the video and were all amazed. This project of making the Nokia N95 touch screen is called as the ‘Neu Project’ and is under development by the none other than the Mobitubia fame Sittiphol Phanvilai a developer from Bangkok in Thailand.
The video shows him working his way through the handwriting tool. It looks impressive but at the same time he might be fooling us with a simple magic trick.
