2. Google Maps
Google Maps for mobile is a free download that lets you view maps and satellite imagery, find local businesses, and get driving directions on your mobile device. Since the application is designed for users on-the-go, it provides features like click-to-call and saved search history that are especially useful for mobile phone users. Maps for mobile works with most Java-enabled (J2ME) mobile phones offered by Cingular and Sprint, and all color BlackBerry devices regardless of carrier. At this time, Local for mobile doesn’t work with Nextel, T-Mobile or BREW-enabled phones (Verizon, Alltel, U.S. Cellular), or Palm devices.
Version 1.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

4. Conversation (beta)
Conversation is a messaging application that allows you to follow your conversations, organized by individual contact. In addition, the application provides an easy way to reply to messages, and continue the conversations. After installation, the application will appear in your device as an application shortcut, and as a new tab in your Contacts application.
First, install Nokia Internet Services Support Package (download here ») to the device memory (not to the memory card). Note! If you have Gizmo or Windows Live already installed, you don’t need to install this support package.
Second, install the compatible version of Conversation application

5. Gizmo for S60 (beta)
Enjoy easy instant messaging and inexpensive calls – both Internet call & call out – enriched with presence. Install the Gizmo client on your device to start using instant messaging (IM), presence and Internet calls. After installing the application you are able to create an account or use the existing Gizmo username and password. With a WLAN connection you are able to use all the features, and IM and presence are available even when you are connected over 2G or 3G.

Installation instructions
Download the files below to your computer and perform the installation using PC Suite. You have to install two separate packets in the following order. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Important note! If you have previous version of Gizmo or Nokia Contact Services Support Package installed, please remove them manually before installing new versions.
Firstly, install Nokia Internet Services Support Package to the device memory (not to the memory card).
Secondly, install Gizmo to the device memory (not to the memory card)

7. MOSH
MOSH is a Nokia service which provides a user-driven distribution channel for applications and other content created for mobile devices. It enables you to create, upload and share your applications, games, audio, images, and video instantaneously. Or you can just take it easy and enjoy what other people have decided to upload and share.
8. Device Manager
Nokia Device Status is a self-diagnosis tool that allows you to collect detailed system information both from your PC and your S60 device. Your current device configuration and phone settings are presented in a detailed summary, which you can use to determine the exact cause of problems if you run into them.
With Nokia Device Status, you can save all collected information to a file, and you can then send the file to customer care services for closer inspection and analysis.
The data collected from your PC includes:
- Operating system
- Language of the operating system vs. that of Nokia PC Suite
- Version of Nokia PC Suite currently installed on your PC
- Drivers required to connect your phone to your PC
- Local time zone
- Log files created by Nokia PC Suite
- Regional and language settings
The data collected from your phone includes:
- Device model
- IMEI code of the phone
- Device memory and any available memory card
- Profiles and themes used on the phone
- Locations used to store data on the phone
After installation, you can access the application from both your phone and PC.
We are currently evaluating the possibility of integrating Nokia Device Status with Nokia customer care, so please tell us what you think. Any suggestions for improvement are warmly welcomed!

Location memory. Mobile search stores your most recently searched locations, making it faster and easier to get the information you’re looking for the next time you search.
10. Activity Monitor
The Nokia Activity Monitor displays charts and statistics, in real-time, about your movements while walking or running. It counts the number of steps, and determines the distance covered and the energy expenditure. Summaries are stored in a diary so that you can compare your activity level on different days, and over longer periods of time. Your steps are detected by analysing the output from the accelerometer in an S60 smart phone. It is most accurate when you attach the phone to your belt, or upper arm, and it also works well if carry your phone in a pocket of your clothing. It might underestimate the number of steps if you keep the phone in a bag that you hold in your hand (as opposed to over your shoulder), and the most difficult case is when you hold the phone in your hand. Inevitably, false steps are detected sometimes, for example when you are cycling or driving.
The Activity Monitor currently runs on the N95, N95 8GB, and N82. You must have a memory card in your phone for the application to work. Be aware that the Activity Monitor’s use of the accelerometer requires a fair amount of battery power. It does not shut down gracefully when the voltage drops, so keep an eye on the battery indicator during the day, and don’t forget to stop the Activity Monitor before you go to bed! 12. Y-Browser
Y-Browser is a free filemanager application designed for S60 3rd edition Symbian smartphones. All testing is done with Nokia S60 devices only, but it should work as well with other manufacturers S60 smartphones.
Currently Y-Browser only supports 3rd edition S60 mobile phones. No plans to support for earlier edition S60 or UIQ mobile phones are planned.
13. Mem Check
It shows you RAM, Free/Max volume of C:\ and E:\

14.Neo Boot
NeoReboot is a small tool for reboot your phone in the fast and save way. The benefit are not only the phone will be rebooted faster than switch off and then switch on method but it also consume less battery. 16. Nokia Sports Tracker
Nokia Sports Tracker is a GPS-based activity tracker that runs on Nokia smartphones. Whenever you train, information such as your speed, distance, and time are automatically stored to your training diary.
In addition, you are now able to store, share, and compare your workouts with friends at the new Sports Tracker Beta web service at sportstracker.nokia.com.
17. Wellness Diary
Wellness Diary makes it easy to take an active role in the daily and/or long-term management of your health. You can monitor and track a range of everyday well-being parameters, including weight, eating habits, exercise, blood pressure, and others. Because this health journal resides on a personal mobile device, you will have privacy and ease of speedy use in everyday situations, as well as the convenience of mobile data, readily available to be shared with a physician or a personal trainer.
18. Nokia Mobile Codes
Create a mobile code with a few simple clicks. Write a message, your phone number, or a link to a website and change it into a mobile code, which can be scanned using a camera phone. You might already have a code reader on your camera phone. If not, don’t worry. You can get one for a vast number of mobile devices. Find yours in the Scan-section.
19. Nokia Audiobooks
Welcome to the world of audiobooks! An audiobook is a recording of a book being read aloud. There are tens of thousands of audiobooks available in the world, in various languages, covering topics from education to entertainment.
Nokia Audiobooks is a beta concept that enables you to enjoy audiobooks while on the go. It includes a highly efficient audio compression technology optimized for voice (AMR-WB), a player application for S60 (Nokia Audiobook Player), and an audio converter tool for PC (Nokia Audiobook Manager). Whereas traditional music player applications are optimized for music, Nokia Audiobook Player is optimized for audiobooks, enabling you to browse chapters, set bookmarks, and automatically continue from where you stopped listening last time.
20. Internet Tablet Video Converter
Convert videos into an optimized format for your Nokia Internet Tablet! The Internet Tablet Video Converter lets you convert videos that you’ve shot yourself, or that you’ve downloaded from the internet (legally of course). All you have to do is drag and drop your videos into the application, which automatically converts them into a size and resolution that are just perfect for your Internet Tablet.
This latest version includes a public API to allow 3rd party developers to create modifications and improvements to the Video Converter application.
The application is optimized for Nokia Internet Tablets such as the Nokia N800 and Nokia N810. If you have another Nokia device, you should try Nokia Video Manager instead.

21. MUPE
MUPE is an emerging mobile playground where you can have fun with all of your friends. Just install the MUPE client on your phone and start enjoying the growing collection of MUPE games and services, such as:

- CamQ: multi-user camera quiz game

22. Nokia Communication Center
With Nokia Communication Center, you can access all your messages and contacts effortlessly in one location from your PC. This new concept replaces four existing Nokia PC Suite features – Nokia Phone Browser, Nokia Text Message Editor, Nokia Contacts Editor, and Nokia Multimedia Factory – with one simple solution.
Please tell us what you think! Depending on your feedback during the beta trial, Nokia Contact Center will be integrated as part of Nokia PC Suite.
23.Nokia Step Counter
Ever wanted to know how much you walk or run as you go about your daily life? The Nokia Step Counter not only counts your steps, it also determines the distance you have covered and your energy expenditure. You can even compare your activity levels on different days by looking up the summaries stored in a handy diary.
Want to know how it all works? Your steps are measured by analyzing the output from an accelerometer in your S60 mobile device. All you have to do is carry your phone around with you whenever you move, for example in a pocket of your clothing, attached to a belt or your upper arm, or in a handbag worn over your shoulder.
24. A-GPS Beta for Nokia N810
Assisted GPS (A-GPS) provides assistance data for GPS calculations within the device. This application enables A-GPS on your N810 Internet Tablet device and provides improved performance and GPS fix times.
25. Profile Scheduler
Profile Scheduler is a free Profile scheduler application that allows automated profile changing with timer schduling. Designed for S60 OS 9.1 Symbian smartphones, and tested only with Nokia S60 devices.

27. EQO Mobile VoIP, IM & SMS

EQO shows you who is online before you place a call, send a message and/or start a chat session. EQO works with your existing mobile plan and does not require a computer or any new contracts.
