Windows Phone 7 Series debuts on an LG handset

March 1st, 2010 | No Comments | by Mod | Share

The details about the first Windows Phone 7 device to go live are still pretty scarce but it will most probably complete the Chassis 2 requirements posted by Microsoft the other day. That means there will be a 1 GHz or faster CPU ticking inside it and the screen resolution will be WVGA at least.

The device also packs a 5 megapixel camera, microUSB connector and a 3.5mm audio jack. If the device turns out to be the rumored LG Apollo we should also be expecting 720p video recording, 1GB of RAM and an AMOLED display. And all that goodness is packed in a body only marginally thicker than the Google Nexus One.
