I am heading to Barcelona to take part in the biggest mobile technology event of the year viz. Mobile World Congress taking place from 15th to 18th Feb. All the coverage can be viewed right here. I have also managed to setup an Events Page in which you can participate live with the proceedings of the conference with many social options like inbuilt Chat & Video streams.

This is all possible ’cause of the great support I have received from Nokia India. Getting to the event, registrations, hotels, flights; the costs can be really high, especially when over 50,000 mobile industry gurus converge in one city. Thus, the coverage I bring up here on the blog and the live events page is courtesy of the support from Nokia India. This support in NO way will have any influence on the blog publication. If you are a regular, then you might have read a few of my many rants which Nokia takes as a challenge.

The coverage I plan to bring up here would be focused on three main aspects:

• Hardware {devices}
• Software {apps, services}
• People {developers, leaders, gurus}

Hands On Videos/Pictures of various devices, First impressions, Interaction with a industry leaders (Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Juniper), Os wars (Symbian Vs Android), Bloggers’ Take and much more. This is all planned and I hope to cover maximum ground (fingres crossed as I am a solo team). I will keep a lookout for Symbian leaders in particular and their take on how they feel after going open source.
