N97 mini modded to a Game Controller

February 20th, 2010 | 1 Comment | by Mod | Share

Manikanan has shown us a very promising demo of how he interfaced his mobile phone ( N97mini ) with GameFactory. GameFactory is an advanced game engine developed by research teams inside NTU’s GameLab, headed by Prof. Seah. As you may observe he controls the jeep in the game by tilting the phone.

To enrich the gaming experience, the stub/wrapper has been written inside  GameFactory and not at Windows input layer. Can this be a  cost-effective solution. Share you thoughts with us.
