#SymbianCountdown 108 Meaning

January 26th, 2010 | 1 Comment | by Ani | Share

There is a countdown setup at http://countdown.symbian.org and a bit of searching has led us to a site which point to this – http://www.salagram.net – which tells us that Powers of 1, 2, and 3 in math: 1 to 1st power=1; 2 to 2nd power=4 (2×2); 3 to 3rd power=27 (3x3x3). 1x4x27=108 ( And a lengthy page with a huge detail on the significance of 108 in religion of the Indian sub-continent.) But for us it simply stands out the S^1*S^2*S^3=108

But lets leave that for your reading please. The number on the Symbian site is a sign for change or makeover. Something new is coming up but its too premature to point out what. Something tells me its ^4 UI but I could be wrong or maybe perhaps not as we saw a lot of talk regarding the later recently but it still is intriguing as to what 108 means here.

Well all we can do is to wait for our next clue :P If you know what Symbian is up to then please share with us by leaving a comment below.
