Its been one of the most challenging things to do in recent times but software developers along with the co-creation of hardware guru’s and health care providers are breaking new barriers when it comes to taking care of one’s health with the power of smart cell phones. Cell phones started with a simple function of wireless communication through calls. Slowly text sms’s were added and then came improvements in the network carriers coupled with the addition of multitasking capabilities and functions like camera, GPS, video conferencing and much more.

Today we have software developers taking full advantage of the technology today bringing ground breaking mobile apps that help us monitor our health wirelessly. Following are a few examples of what mobiles and medicines are up to today. Courtesy CNN.

Been using Skyscape for ever and i love it! I’m so glad Skyscape is available on the android platform! They have consistently provided all doctors with a great service which we are really grateful for! Even the nurses use Skyscape’s products are awesome!
The recent launch of Skyscape on the android platform (like G2, G3, G4, to MyTouch, the Droid, and all the other Google based phones,) has helped the medical field immensely. Doctors, Nurses and Medical Students are all able to avail of the free, as well as the paid services offered by Skyscape – (some of us are happy with the free services :) while others opt to buy the paid ones).
