How To Easily Install Unsigned S60 Apps On Your Nokia Device
So you came across an S60 application that you want to install on your Nokia device but when you do you get a certificate error. There are many reasons that could cause this but the most common is due to the App being unsigned. These ‘unsigned’ applications which just wouldn’t install on your device. Even with the open signed system it just doesn’t work. Why? Well, cause the developer just couldn’t find the time or the more common thing i.e. money to get it Symbian signed.
There is an easy way to get things working to enable your device install unsigned applications. Follow the following 10 step guide to get things rolling.
1. Goto iMobile Site. (The site is in Chinese so people out there like me can refer to the screenshots I am putting up along. You can click these images to enlarge them.)
2. Register yourself for a new account. Click here to Register.
3. Enter the details required to be used to login once you register sucessfully.
4. Now after registration goto this page Requests Page and follow the following screenshot.
5. Now go catch a movie for 2-3 hours and when your done check back Here. You should get the following screen, a green tick and your imei number.
6. Next you have to do is get your Signtool by clicking on the Blue Button and install the software on your computer.
7. Get hold of the latest version of HelloOx Here.
8. Get it Signed with the Signtool software we installed on our PC in step 6 (use the following image for help.)
9. Transfer the signed HelloOx to your device and Install it.
10. Finally Run the installed software and enjoy the ability to load unsigned apps on you device
Note: This method works well for all devices based on S60v3 and S60v5 with the exception of N97 v2.

I use http://cer.opda.cn/en (OPDA’s certification) Atleast its in English. The certificate takes around 24 hrs, But once you have it, you can get the signing done on the site itself.
