fring is working just great on the n97, it have all instant messaging: msn, skype, gmail…but I believe that the killer application is last.fm a good choice for interner radio while the Nokia radio is still not available for us N97's, the link is: http://www.fring.com & you can download directly from the N97 browser, enjpy

Gah, what a scam. Please.
Facebook – comes preinstalled.
Qik – comes preinstalled, and might be useful to SOME, but it's just as useless to all others, and you can't even remove it.
Sports Tracker – meh, good for the fitness gurus, but I doubt the rest of us can be bothered about it.
Photo Browser – the default one is slow enough on its own, without fancy effects and all. Gonna be good, but needs serious tweaking and if it's final, integration into fw to replace the now default.
Reuters – again, default, and again, one of the first widgets I removed.
AccuWeather – again, comes built-in, and nice indeed, but needs some speed and update tweaking, and a WHITE background for the white theme, plz.
Ovi Maps – again, default application.
TweetS60 – meh, I vote for Gravity. Not free, but the best there is for s60.
Y-Browser – well, that's one that's definitely needed.
Nokia Messaging – should be default, and would be good too, if it could install on mass memory too, instead of only in phone memory.
Killers? Not as much. Y-Browser, maybe, but the rest…nothing special.

Quite many built-in apps. How about making new list(s) for Top-10 ADD-ON apps and Top-10 games?
Y-Browser is very good, agreed! Others I seem to use are ScreenSnap and PyS60 (python). Tells more about me than available apps…
Btw the biggest, best, most-used ever KILLER application is still address book. Camera is getting closer, but dealing with pics is still too difficult. Just IMHO, of course
