YouTube S60 Client Updated to v2.2.9
YouTube client for S60 devices has been updated from v2.02(6) to v2.02(9) which brings compatibility with S60 5th Edition like the Nokia N97. This is good news but it is still in a primitive stage. A few glitches are – you are not able to directly upload videos to our account, comment or even rate other videos. Well, its only a matter of time and I am sure google will update this in the days to come.
The update does bring a few interface tweaks to enhance the experience on S60 3rd Edition device, however much of the real estate on the S60 5th Edition devices is wasted due to the inapropriate location of the controls.

On the N97 youtube says upgrade. When you click it it only takes you to the youtube home screen. I can’t even find a download for it anywhere. Sigh.
