Nokia Initializing Xseries, Cseries, Booklet And Nokia Money
Along the blogsphere there is a buzz about Nokia, the Finnish Cellular Company, is starting some exciting new projects. With Xseries and Cseries it promises to bring to the consumer the cutting edge new cellular units breaking the stereotyped hardware. This move could also mean that Nokia may give way for new OS other than symbian to bank upon their hardware bank. We got hold of the following screenshots which indicate this from vaibhav and stefan.
According to a Finnish trademark website Puhelinvertailu, Nokia has trademarked the word ‘Cseries‘. Meanwhile, Digitoday has discovered a new lineup of devices called ‘Xseries‘ on OAMI’s (The Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market) website.
And more over other things Nokia seems to plan is:
- Nokia Money – According to the description, it is a “Computer software to enable mobile telephones to transfer money from one bank account to another bank account” & “Financial transaction services, namely, providing secure commercial transactions and payment options using a mobile device at a point of sale.” Trademark was filed on July 16, 2009.
- Booklet – According to the description, “Computers, laptops, smart phones; accessories for computers, laptops and smart phones.” This could be the name Nokia’s netbooks come with. Trademark was filed on June 20, 2009.
- Apart from this he lists quite a few Eseries devices that Nokia has trademarked, check out the list here.
