What about the built-in 32GB of memory? 32GB + 5MP camera + qwerty really stands alone in the market. Add in Sports Tracker and Share Online, and it's a real powerhouse! Needs more ram and CPU, tho.

I'm with Matt. I think that the combination of many of the N97's features is what makes it as great as it is. In my mind, there isn't really a single specific feature that the phone has that makes it so great. When I bought it, I hoped it would be able to handle the same tasks as my E71 did, but I also wanted the better media features–nicer camera, 32GB built in memory, bigger/nicer screen, etc. In my opinion, the N97 is a good combination of both the N95 8GB that I once had and the E71. (barring the RAM issue, which I myself have not had a problem with yet, I'm not a true power user though).

@ mattThank you for ur input matt now the 32 gig memory all appears as a choice.
@jeff i personally havnt had any problem with the ram and i completly agree that n97 actuall bridges the gap b/w n-series and e-series…

@matt if your strugling with ram/cpu ie:speed and multi taskiking move all pre installed apps on your phone mem to mass mem use 1 theme and load it on your phone mem (if your trying themes out add them to mass mem) and add all future apps to mass mem this will improve your speed and multi tasking capabilities.

    they are really cool.

@ matthew – totally agree 32 gigs rock but dont knw why nokia compromised on the ram. anyways did u enjoy the 24×7 tour?

The best feature in the N97 as it stand right now? The QWERTY hands down.
Widgets are really impressive, but needs some more stability to become the best feature.

  7. Sehaj Bir Singh Says:

with the firmware update the widgets have become a lot more stable i luv the keypad but if nokia in the next firmware deals with the long press of keys giving no keypad wld def move to the top of my list…

  8. alsiladka Says:

Yup, not enabling the long press for numbers is a really stupid move by them. But still, I loved the raised & properly spaced buttons.
Widgets still need to get a lot more speedy & quicker to open and interact with in my opinion.

  9. Ani Says:

wow, the QWERTY keypad is hot right now
