Nokia E75 Vs E71 – Battle Of QWERTY Eseries Giants
Nokia E71 is backed by world admiration and was a clear winner amongst messengers in 2008 but now as we head to see the Nokia E75 come to life, its time to track a head to head battle between the two. I tabulated the main points together to see how the new Eseries top player E75 stands out against the E71. For my up close post on E90 vs E75 click here. Good news is that Prebooking is open for most of the countries including India but as we saw a fuss with the Nokia 5800 prebookers, I don’t feel this would make much a buzz. Do provide us with your feedback on this. If you want to pre-order E75 Click Here.

You are wrong in 2 things about the E71:
- 4x Zoom in Camera Mode
- Flash LED in Camera Mode

E71 is way better. Design like it totally rocks and the phone is more suitable for business users.

Just as I thought, E71 is definitively a winner on this race. Not only it is prettier than E75 but also better… Well, maybe those guys who are interested in video could think the opposite but hey, if your looking for video you should not be looking for the E series…

Nokia E75 is better because of bigger screen size and its more sleeker then E71 . I love both cell phones and would reali like to buy e75. Currently em using E90

I can’t agree with Pedro… Can’t a business user that need VPN and much more email support than the N-series provide, be also on the look for good video? It might not be a general “must” for all of us, but it’s nicer to have those features.
But, in general, I do like the E71 more I guess. Apart from the video features and a more compact design, the E75 doesn’t bring in much. The memory and FP1 still powers E71 ahead.
(Why does Nokia insist on doing that? Just get it better man, don’t cripple devices. If you’re bringing in a device like the E75 over E71, keep the good sides -memory, feature pack, storage etc- and enhance the weak parts. But no, they have to hold the leash somewhat! That, I hate!)

Been thinking of upgrading from my N82, and somehow I feel the E71 is way better than anyother phone that Nokia can offer. The next closest choice I have is the E66, the E75 is nowhere in the picture

The E75 is definitely the E-Series champion. The features are great and even the US version is out on http://www.puremobile.com/Nokia/Nokia-E75-Black… already unlocked. As long as a phone has qwerty and wifi, its a winner for me. I've been using it for 4 months now and can't complain.

I really think the Nokia E71 is a super smart phone. I’ve used a lot of phone Models and I think I finally found my home in the E series. I had an iphone before I got this E71. After seeing what the device could do i literally gave my nephew the iphone. I can’t imagine giving away my precious E71. Never ever ever. Nokia will really have to put their thinking hats to produce a device that’s as slick, sexy and mean as the E71. Nuff said.

The E75 might be a good option for someone who doesn’t already own an E71, but seriously we really need a lot of convincing the shell some extra buck to upgrade to E75. Personally, I think I’ll wait for a while. Think about it this way, when the E71 was released it hat only to reviews. Nothing negative. No contest. It took the iphone off the charts. The next E series (I expected) should beat the iphone 3G.

Type your comment here. After much reading and research, I couldn’t resist the Nokia E75. I was tempted, very tempted. I finaly got myself one. Well two months down the line and here is my verdict…….. it’s a good buy. An Excellent handset in all aspects. I especially like its email features. Unlike the E71 the E75 pulls and pushes your emails almost seamlessly. No need for extra configuration settings and what not, the only problem i had at first was setting up the access points, this was a bit technical and required a bit of tweaking, but after that it was a blast. The built in browser is definitely better than the E71. I must admit the E71 is much better when it comes to the sound output in the media player but that’s a small difference seeing that you can fit a 16GB card into the E75.
Nuff said,
Nokia knew what it was doing.
E75 rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like both phones but I'm going for E75. It's nice in that its a strightforward looking phone when you use it with the keyboard closed and the qwert keyboard is there when you need it. I think the accelerometer is a nice touch. I also like the fact that it has a standard 3.5mm audio socket. Also, the larger screen is a great benefit. One point not touched on is that the E71 is a 'thief magnet' due to its looks – whereas the E75 looks like an ordinary phone until the keyboard is extended. I think with the E75 that Nokia addressed the few downsides of the E71. I was a bit dubious at first concerning the possible build quality – thinking it looked like an E63 type build – but having played with one, it actually surprised me and allayed my doubts. I was going to upgrade from my E61 to the E71 but I have decided on the E75 instead. Both phones are excellent and people don't lose out whichever one they decide to buy.

I found this website trying to decide whether it would be worthwhile buying an E71 to *complement* my E75 (now that E71s are ridiculously cheap). I’d just like to point out one big difference between the two that seems to be going unnoticed here:
The E75 can be charged either by USB or the Nokia charger. The E71 can only be charged with the Nokia charger.
With the growing number of portable devices supporting microUSB charging, this is a huge issue IMO.

i am using E63 but it seems not much difference between E63 and E71 because one of my friends is using E71 so now i would like to buy E75 but i m worrying about the design of E71 because my friend told me sliding models spoil soon. kindly guess guide me is that true……

i have used both the e71 and e75 and i have found rare faults when comparing both of them but the only thing i have managed to reveal between them are -
e71 buttons are relatively smaller than e75 so internet users may find it a little difficult while browsing
e75 model doesn’t looks so cool, never liked the shape though, whereas the e71 kinda looks like it can be used for business purpose.
comparing to e75, e71 has more battery power
nothing else. thank you

When we say corporate or a business phone it is like a combination of pc and mobile, it is just happen e75 has a full keyboard compared to e71 a qwerty. It is clear, e75 is the winner when we say a business phone. I love my e75.
