After playing around with NokiaviNe for a while now I am sharing with you all a little guide on how to enable NokiaviNe Widget display Only Your Personal viNes instead of all the latest viNes. If you still not have checked out what Nokia viNe is then please feel free to read my quick started guide on this geo-tagging media sharing application. Just follow the following easy step by step process on how you can get your viNe widget up and running (Following steps are written with a formulation that you know how the application works and uploads media along with a little knowledge of basic html editing techniques.)

There are 2 things that are required for this. First is on the Phone when you upload you viNes and second is on the PC when you embed the widget. Read on for full guide.

On the phone

1. After you make a viNe and are in the process of uploading it, you will be asked to name the viNe and after that you will be prompted to add tags. The latter is where we will have to do the trick.

2. Think of a unique tag that only you know of. This is an important step as later we will use this feature to filter our viNes. In most occasions your full name should do the trick but make it unique like an account ID.

3. Go on and finish uploading your viNe. (make sure it shows up in your sportstracker account.)

On the PC/Mac

4. Open the Nokia viNe Website. ( http://www.nseries.com/nseries/vine/)

5. Click on the Embed Widget in the bottom left corner.

6. A screen will appear that will show up a few instructions, just click next and then Click on HTML.

7. Copy the Code

8. Open your favorite text editor (I know most of you love notepad but I recommend WordPad for this). Paste the code there.

9. Locate the word tags=

10. Type the exact unique tag after the tags= that we uploaded the viNe with in step 2. Now select all and copy the text. (Note: You have to edit the code at 2 places. Check the following picture for details.)

11. Open your Website, WordPress, Blogger, Joomla etc. and paste the code where you want the widget to appear and save it. Thus you are done

This trick can be used to display any number of viNes with the SAME unique tag and at the same time you can also use it to display only a single viNe but each of them should be tagged with a unique word.
