4 Exclusive Applications And Games For Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
Hi all, just got hold of 4 amazing applications for Nokia 5800 XpresMusic. These Sms Timer, Smart Guard, Marble Maze and WaveSecure. Feel free to download them. I have added a few screenshots and information about these applications which can be glanced below and over at the official 5800 site on Nokia India. Click here and here for my earlier posts for more applications for S60v5. Looking forward to your feedback. If you get expired certificate issue, then please update your device to the latest firmware via the NSU. This sure will prove good for all UK Nokia fans as now they will have some applications and games to experiment around with from 23 Jan.
1. SMS Timer
SMS Timer allows you to schedule SMS/MMS messages to be sent on a future date and time. The application functions exactly like the standard messaging application allowing you to define multiple recipients.
- Following are some situations where the SMS Timer will prove handy:
- Scheduling of Birthday wishes or Season’s greetings well in advance
- Sending a message to someone in a different time zone so that it does not reach him at unearthly hours
- Regularly checking your bank account balance by scheduling periodic information request messages and not worry about it
2. Wave Secure
The ultimate security application for your phone. It not only helps you track the lost phone but also ensures full security of the data on the device.
Secure and how:
- Track the lost/stolen device via Buddy Notification or over the Internet
- Remotely Lock the lost/stolen device, so that nobody can misuse the device & data
- Take a Backup of your data including Contacts, SMSs, Calendar Entries & Call Logs
- Erase the data on the stolen device to avoid misuse
- Restore the data back onto your device once you find it or even restore it on a new device which has WaveSecure installed
3. Smart Guard

Currently there are 40 different labyrinths to solve, and 3 different types of balls viz. a metal ball, a rubber ball, and a super pingpong ball. In this super addictive game you can advance from simple to the more difficult levels requiring skill, accuracy, and determination to hit the high scores.

Smart Card & Wave Secure Indian only. Marble Maze does not run maybe for same reason? ..perhaps they can be purchased somewhere? We need more software for touch devices!

Hi i downloaded all the apps here. The game is awesome and is working very well. It user the accelerometer. There are 50 levels. Nice time pass. Thanks ani.

got the same problem whit the marble maze as Jeffrey Foong, I instaled it and it asked me for a certificate check, so i allowed it and it instaled whitout eny problems. but when i try to run it from the apps menu it opens a black screen and then just throws me back to the apps menu.
Help pls.

Im not sure if this happened to anyone of you guys. I download the apps and games for my 5800 which where featured here. I saved it on the memory card and after two days my phone couldnt read my memory card anymore!!! I transferred my memory card to another nokia phone and it said that my memory was NOT FORMATED. Had to reformat the memory card using the phone and lost all data stored there since I wanted to make sure that I could still use the memory card. Its fine now but it gave me a hell of a scare.

hi ani, the sms timer works like a charm now that i installed it on the phone memory.. Im hoping I could get the “smart guard” to work. I’ve tried changing my location on India and it still doesnt work for me. Im in the Philippines by the way. Is there any other software that works this way? Samsung phones have security features for certains files that you want to keep private, and Im hoping smart guard works for my 5800. thanks. keep it up

how come when i install marble maze, i can’t open it, and when i try to open smart guard it says i can only use it in india region….is there a way to bypass it?

To uninstall apps just:
1. From the main standby screen press the white menu button.
2. Select “Settings”.
3. Select “Application Manager”.
4. Select “Installed Applications”.
5. Click once on the app you want to remove.
6. Select “Options”, then “Uninstall”, then “Yes”.
Note that this removal also deletes the app’s installation file.

For those who have issues with certificate, just download FreeSigner (freeware) and sign the application. It's easy. But with marble maze i have another issue as many others. After installing it, I launch the game but it closes afte a 2 seconds' black screen. Does anyone know how to get through this issue? thanks

I can open everything from the gallery after hiding it using smart guard. This looks like a bluff from nokia website. Is there anyone successfully using it?

after installing smartguard, all the messages and gallery etc are password protected but when i open them from the main menu it doesnt ask for a password. im a little lost here..how are the messages in the inbox and the files in the gallery hidden or kept secret if they can be accessed like this??

I have installed smart guard successfully, it was working fine. But now when i open the application, it says trial expired and i am able to get into it with the password. Everything looks fine but video files are visible in gallery that i hid earlier.

I downloaded wave secure, sms timer and smart guard applications on my nokia 5800. While the first two work just fine, smart guard just doesn’t work. I keep getting a msg saying “The application is not valid”. I use the phone in India and I don’t see why there should be any problem. Please help me out here as I am in dire need of the smart guard application. Thanks!
