Be A Samsung i900 Agent And Win Yourself An OMNIA

Samsung India too has plunged into the viral campaigning world following Nokia’s lead to promote their products and at the same time make a dedicated user base. So what does this mean? Well this simply means that Aamir Khan has failed to provide the company the sales they were expecting ;) . May sound ironic but this is true. Getting an Actor to do the trick makes it highly unlikely to connect your product with the users when compared to Word of Mouth (WoM) program which Nokia has been propagating with success. But I guess Samsung India have finally got its pieces together and have started on the lines on the later. Although this is good for a start, there is still a lot to do. Anyways lets talk about what this campaign is.

As much as I agree with how Nokia has been successful with its WOM style of marketing, I must also point out at how Nokia India, hasn’t really been able to capitalize on this very much. Nokia India, i feel is still thinking because it is a Nokia, it will sell… unfortunately that is not the case.

What is your thought on that Ani?

  2. Ani Says:

    Hi Adi,
I agree with you on this.
Nokia India is altogether a different stroke. It does have a WOM element but that is not being exploited to its full potential, and that’s sad.
