Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Games And Applications Download
A few days back I got hold of some cool free software applications and games specially made for the First S60 Touch Device the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. My favorite are the Touch Guitar and TVB Widget. Feel free to download these applications, games and try them with your 5800. I will be adding more in the coming weeks so keep a track of my posts. To know more about 5800 Click Here. We have a couple of 5800 applications exclusively in Chinese Language. To install these, just download the respective files and transfer them to our device via Nokia PC Suite or Ovi Suite. If you have some applications that you want to share then please do by leaving a comment.

Dial *#7370# and enter pin 12345 to reboot your phone. You’ll lose your data. Set correct date. Installs should go well afterwards

for me, all the apps lag a bit when i use them. especially the guitar. for some reason when i strum the virtual guitar it sounds terribly wrong

I have just bought the nokia 5800 and im pretty excited with the gadget….the only thing missing is the quick office viewer as i am unable to view any of my presentations or excell files.

Goto Menu >> Downloads! >> Applications >> S60 >> QuickOffice
then just download it from there

Thnx for the prompt reply. I tried the same but when i go to Menu > Download > Applications… it gives me the following options: settings, remove content, about, disclaimer & online information but it does not give me the option S60 to download quick office.
Can i download it from online somewhere to my PC and then transfer to my phone.

that is right. go to Menu -> Download! -> Applications (this is a folder) then select QuickOffice Application…. i have done this before. make sure u are able to connect to internet first because it will go on-line first before displaying the content under Download! folder… good luck!

Hello, I have an Nokia 5800 with symbian 9.4 and a card with Garmin. I cannot install Garmin Mobile XT on this kind of symbian version at all. I cannot use the down menu ( send, i agree… the buttons on the down side of the application). I used MobileXt under symbian 9.2 very perfectly but under 9.4 it wont work. What to do?

I had the same expired certificate problem, the *#7370# option does work but you need to remove any memory card in the phone 1st ! After you have typed the sequence above let the phone re-boot itself, wait for everything to load then replace your memory card and the phone will say “preparing memory card” – If you see this message its worked, if not take your phone back to where you bought it from !

for all those of u who had a prob to install quick office. i also had the same issue. finally, with a little bit of googling, i found the installer online and it worked on ma phone.

iPhone is sure fast when it comes to processor speed and it has multi touch but its expensive. i have heard rumors about iphone nano but am not sure. 5800 is less expensive than i Phone and has a lot of features

hey u guys with the “expired certificate” problem. just remove ur memory card and reset ur phone with *#7370#. (remember to backup phone memory data) and when the phone asks for ur location and date just set ur real location and the current date and everything will be fine. the important part is the removal of the memory card beforehand.

it doesn’t work… i removed memory card… i installed quick office … also i instaled one game and then went wrong again… wxpired certificate… it works for first install … but after that it back up to expired certificate… no solution…

u have to put the whole phone back together after u restart. do as i said before and then replace the memory card and just put ur phone back to normal. the important part in the resetting of ur phone with the removal of the memory card, it makes ur phone a whole new phone. I tried it on my one and it worked in an instant.

transfer and install the file to your device via ovi pc suite. ovi pc suite can be found in the dvd provided with the device in the box.

after i format my nokia 5800,i m only able to fixed the “certificate expired” for motion dice only. the other game all i still cant download. there is a msg appear every time i install the other game. which is “kindly note that this application will not be able to install from memory card after reformatting of phone. Please reinstall this application from source file”

Hi Adis,
Nokia 5800 does not support .avi files. However it does support .mp4 and .3GP files. So you can get a converter like Mediacoder(Link below) to convert the files for you and then transfer them on to your cell phone to view them.

Hi,
I have got a problem using my Hotmail emailaccount on the Nokia 5800. I can reach my account and read the email’s, but i’m not able to download the attachments in the emails. There is no icon I can use to download the file’s or another link.
I’ve already downloaded Quickoffice to be able to open the documents.
Can someone tell me if i need to change some of my settings??? I did not have this problem whit my HTC S710, so I think it’s a problem of my nokia and not my hotmailaccount.

follow this insturktions it worked for me
1: take out the memory card
2: white *#7370#
3: after that somthing will apper white this code 12345
4: the it will restart fix the settings (date, time)
5. swith off the phone
6: putt the memory card back in the phone

garmin software doesn't work but the nokia maps is very very good when you get the hang of it i'm just back from oregon north west america and used it there and it was perfect and very accurate better than my navman!!!!!!!

No its not safe you noob. If your pc has lots of viruses then the method of transfer isn't going to save you. Use the internet capability of the phone and download directly from the net if safety is what you are worried about

nokia 5800 doesnt support .sis files it supports other sis files i think sisx and get a bluetooth dongle and transfer games and other data through bluetooth.. have fun

why .sis files are not working in 5800X. I had downloaded 1legcall.sis, ifone.sis, worldcall.sis for making internat calls from mobile, but its showing “Expired Certificate” while trying to install in the phone memory. Can anyone help how it can be done???

Hi!I’ve downloaded touch piano, touch guitar and some other applications and installed them on the nokia 5800.And when I try to play them on the screen is showing up that notice : “This application didn’t allow to run on your phone network.(Only India Telco Simcard)”.Pleace tell me how to fix this problem!!

if it says expired certificate then set date back to 6 months.if still says expired then try to move more back.app will be installed if it says “certificate may not be valid yet” then set the date forth. mind it that every app has 6 months duration certificate and you shoul find that 6 months yourself.well if u get certificate error then u have to sign the app go to. http://www.opda.net.cn/ select the english language.or search it on google about apda certifacate they hava some videos about to help in signing apps.if u dont understand what tried to tell u then please throw ur symbian phone cuz these phones r not for stupids.

Antivirus is in ovi name is ‘f secure’, quick office is here, luking 4 any pdf reader soft, i prefer adobe. And 1 more thing downloadnig from ovi make sure u have an account there it’s free registration and olso use gprs it’s easy. Sum1 plz help me with adobe reader, thanx in adevanced.
