Nokia N-Gage – Irresistibly Irresistible – Part 3 – Dirk Dagger And The Fallen Idol

Okay fellas, Asphalt 3 Street Rules review will come up in few days but as for now I am more enticed with one of the other games that has made me totally addicted. Its none other than Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol. I really wanted to grab my hands on the full version but some how it just didn’t click as I will soon be changing my device and at present there is no way to take you game with you to the new device so a word of caution for everyone out there who want to upgrade. Apparently I read a few days back that it is possible to transfer it to only one other device but I will post it only after I do it myself ;) , so don’t count on it until I actually do it. Why couldn’t Nokia just simply add the title to the N-Gage Arena ID + a Registered Phone IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity – well most of us are unaware of what the four letters stand for so just a little mobile gyan for those geeks ;) ). When you change a Phone Just punch in your new IMEI. I know things can be complicated but I’m sure Nokia will come up with something. But if this is a marketing stunt then it might just cost them some serious gaming freaks :P . Wake up Call For Nokia N-Gage!

So this time we have with us the very cleverly built game that engrosses you deep into the roots that you become totally addicted to it only after spending a few minutes with it, unlike Asphalt 3 Trial which makes you take a back seat to sleep your way off. The best part is that it can be played on both Candybar phones and dual slides with equal ease. Sure it has a little reading to do but this one is worth the rundown. Not a complete 3D package but it is better than the ones we had a few years back on PC. The story line starts with a punch on high alerts of a theft taking place in the city as in some Hollywood movie with an Idol being stolen out of the blue. But this is a sudden neuronal grabber to make your eyes, making you say to yourself, ‘Dude something that is going on in there.

After the prologue there is a sudden drift to our 2 main characters i.e. detectives aka heroes of the game with a bright sunny day. The detective buddies share some witted conversation before they receive a Anonymous call wanting them to handle a case and for further details they were to meet this person at a Diner. So as now you might have guessed that this sure is a cool story that grips you into its theme really quick. And the best part is that it is a Trial part of the game and now after being through with it, you simply cannot stay away from the full version. God knows how I have held myself till I do an upgrade on my device.

The games takes you on a vigilant course with a lot of unexpected things taking place. In the trial I really loved the Fortune Cookie Part, so keep your eyes open for that one. As for now I will leave you with some visuals of the game. I really don’t want to go into further details as I don’t want to spoil the suspense this game has to offer but til now this is the Best Detective Game I have come across in years. On whole I was totally into the game within minutes of starting it and had to give it away to it. It sure deserves the Gameplay Award and a Thumbs Up from me with astounding 4 stars out of 5. My verdict, Just get this one :P
