Ovi Evolving + Share Ovi Gets A Makeover
Well, I am a regular user of Ovi suite and services. Recently I noticed a few changes in the GUI of Share Ovi. Well, these were expected after the official announcement by Aapo Bovellan, explaining in detail about what Ovi has to offer and how different services were evolving. Interestingly no announcement has been made over at the Ovi Blog. UPDATE: Ovi Blog made announcements late yesterday. These can be glanced by clicking here>> Well below is what Ovi has to offer straight from the man Aapo himself, an amazing video that explains it all. Following this I’ll have a few screenshots of what has changed rather evolved in Share Ovi.
First thing I noticed today was the changed Navigation bar at the top. It looks like this now:
Thus, it displays the various services Ovi has to offer enabling you to switch between them easily. From left to right we have Contacts, Maps, Share, N-Gage, Music, Files and Calender.
The Upload Feature has also seen a change and now it looks as follows:
Another change is the incorporation of the Inbox Tab on the Right Sidebar below the Profile link:
Even the Home Tab has gone under a little make over and is now as follows:
Well, these are the changes which I noticed today and I’m sure these will slowly take place and make our navigation easier. Well, I’m gonna take a Nap and after I’m up I’ll provide you with more updates. Till then Happy Oving

“contacts”, “files” and the “calendar” features don’t work using Mozilla Firefox browser. How can they fix that?

Hi Micky,
Well things seem to be working here in India. I guess they may be upgrading their service in Europe, may be introducing some other features for their European users, unlike us here in Asia.
