Notebook v1.0 Theme – Tester’s Invited
As you all know that Sehaj has been working on our very first theme called Notebook v1.0 which is still in alpha and I made an introductory post about it here, well I’m sorry for the delay in sending you out the theme file as we had encountered a major problem with it. (Apparently the .sis file had gone missing 
) So we remade the whole thing and now finally we are happy to send it out to you all. Please note the theme is still in alpha phase and we want you to help us by reporting us your feedback about it. (Only a handful of testers invited)
Following are a couple of screenshots of the latest stable release:
You can request the theme again by leaving comments below and we will provide you with it. The good news is that now It should work on all S60v3 devices and it also supports Feature Pack 2 transitions. Yes it will also work on Nokia N96.

UPDATE: I just found the .sis file for the earlier theme . It was in the recycle bin. Don’t know how it got there…!

I’ve been testing it on my Nokia E65. I see that this is a very elegant theme, the colors were very well chosen, as well as the background image. The bad things is that, as it has clear colors (white), it takes more battery and the device runs slower also; and the s60 blog website on the background it is not that cute, just if it has the “S60″, and that’s all.
But, as I said in the beginning, this is a very elegant and attractive theme (sometimes the simple things are the most attractive, and this is one of them), any picture as background looks well with that theme as a background too, and the logos are quite original.

Me again.. I was opening the Music Player and I saw that it missed the theme background, so you have forgotten to add the theme things into the Music Player background.

Thank you for your interest everyone. I will email you the theme this Friday. Will look forward to your feedback and hopefully incorporate the changes you want. As for now I will not be sending any more testers, in essence i will let the theme public in the coming weeks with the help all the above testers.

The icons look amazing!! A big kudos for getting the icons done this way!
Although, a few of the specialized folders are still using the default nokia icons.
The theme would go up to a completely different level if you manage to change all the icons possible on a phone. The unchanged icons on my E65 are -

The icon and animation while sending the Service Command are the default ones. Even if thse could be pencilised, there would be nothing like it

Thanks for the alpha version of this theme.
IMHO, the pale yellow grid and list highlights are hard to see, especially when navigating through the menu very quickly.
It would add a nice touch if you could change the colours of the digital clock from default blue to… hmmm… let’s say the dark red you used for the focused list frames or another matching colour.

Thanks for sending the alpha version of the theme:) well there are two stuff that needs changing. one is the top bar (where applications etc title bar is.) and 2nd is pop up menu when we push the light or right soft key i mean the background of it.

One major flaw !!
The Music player on my E65 has been completely overlooked! It shows up in the default Nokia blue theme. This is not the same music player has the Nseries phones, please update this too

Also, the Meeting, Todo, Reminder, Birthday icons on the standby screen are not the ones you have posted in this screenshot. They are the default ones.

Hey to everyone!!!
First of all, I am german and my englich is not to good!!!
I am in Spain since 10 years, and about 3 days ago I was able to get the 5800 XpressMusic!!! WOW good work Nokia!!
I could install some s60 3rd editon games on it, but small view. But I think that soon games and aplicatios for the 5th edition will be able to get.
I could not install any s60 rd Theme on the 5800 Xpressmusic.
So for any Information were I can get Thems is usefull for me!!
As well I would realy like to get that Theme to !!!!
What I can say is that the battery is quit good, I fully charged it, and it still got 4 lines.
Better standby as in my Nokia N80 !!!!
So guys, hope to get more info, and that we can talk soon!!
