Ok…subscribed…i keep coming back to your blog anyway :-) and have you noticed that there are quite a few decent blogs being run by Indians or people based out of here?

and iPhone…though i would not shell out for it…i love my N95 8GB and the N82 which i am going to buy…but if i can win it in a contest why not?

And sorry to hear about the E90…after spending a bomb on a phone…when it breaks up it really HURTS and never mind whether it’s still on warranty or not! Nokia’s QA is definetly slipping…

There exists endless possibilities for imagination, yet we must plan to make it feasibility for our own future. There exist problems like firmware outrages & hardware non-compatibility for ad-hoc connectivity. Features like these can be incorporated to create a domestic ubiquitous environment which might interconnect several environmental controls with personal perceptions via touch, to support might be modulated, continuously and imperceptibly for services like surveillance, remote manipulation, controlling players and warn users of stale or spoiled food etc wirelessly with a touchpad unique for each operation.

The Apple iPhone being adaptive, context aware can be customized to support a suitable ubiquitous interaction paradigm for many pervasive applications, but several proprietary trademarks & standards hinder the growth. If a user necessitates these services, it’s mandatory to pay these services & many a 3rd party clients would have to subscribe Apple Notification Services and must manage to comply without any firmware problems, security factors & driver malfunctions. Ambient Intelligence, Human-centered computing can play a key role to identify nearest Internet kiosks, pay phone booths, bars & clubs, retail stores, Hotels and banks using the iPhone to track visits on Google Maps using its existing GPS services.

Built for a wide networking standards like 3G, WiFi etc, iPhone can be tuned to be used as a Wireless Backup Appliance for Macs. Further it must shake hands to interact & sync with PCs as well. The problem might be resolved with minor firmware upgrade to ubiquitously sync both PCs & Macs. It would be a better choice for more users if it served to comply with PCs, the latter being a majority! The iPhone could bridge a service-duality to share resources like a Remote Disc, Portable Desktop, Interactive touch screens, unique devices like Microsoft surface & whiteboards, thereby perceive its environment and react accordingly.

It could serve navigation support in the situations at home, indoor, outdoor, and in car etc. As iPhone is capable of wirelessly sync`ing, it can be used like a plug & play. Users can borrow displays in libraries, and sync essential data on fly. There is a wide speculation yet this natural interaction paradigm appropriate to a sturdy ubiquitous iPhone has yet to emerge in the near future.

I’m an Indian & wish to share my opinions through this entry.

Thank you.
