N-Gage which was once lost out cold in the blue has made a great come back with its new site http://www.n-gage.com and promises of a revolutionary change in the world of Mobile Gaming with support to various third party game developers. Let’s go into the roots of the matter and see for ourselves what really lies inside.

The next generation of mobile gaming is here, is what the people at N-Gage say but are we there yet? With the likes of the 3D & Accelerometer gaming of Wii, PSP, DS etc. has mobile gaming really pulled its socks up?

Well in a context Life just got more entertaining with the new N-Gage mobile gaming service. You can try all N-Gage games from any one of the tens of millions of compatible Nokia devices in the market. That’s right from almost any Nokia device, which is a great thing. Once hooked, you can conveniently download and buy a game on your device or PC and continue the fun. You can also share the fun by connecting with friends, challenging players around the world, and participating in community activities in the N-Gage Arena.

At present you have to download the games and N-Gage software that is compatible with your device. The things that compromise game-play the most are the small display screen of the device, unorthodox gaming keys and graphics. The good things are over the air game download, trial before you purchase, no need to carry a separate CD/DVD for every game and multi-player options along with the new TV Out capability.

Still room for improvement but overall an amazing feature to let you take control of your inner child. Fun and Relaxing. Would love to see more games coming and improvements in new devices with dedicated gaming keys and bigger screens.
