Ovi Rocks…! But Can It Roll?

With a Cafeteria approach Ovi is making Giant steps towards the New Age world of Computing and Internet. I have been a regular user of Ovi products like Share, Files, N-Gage, Maps etc and I have loved my way till now. There was nothing that I had in mind and Ovi couldn’t come up with. I have spent the most time with the Share Ovi service which offers Free Media Storage Facility Online. As a regular blogger I have used the service to its full advantage and have compiled my take on the service.
As a matured user of the service I have lately felt that there could have been a few things more to what Share Ovi presently offers. For instance
1. More Widget Styles
I feel that putting up more widgets would be great. I do know the PicLens update of which I made a point here but I still feel that a few more styles would add more to the flavor and spice to this present feature. After all Picasa is sure looking healthy with a lot of good widgets.
2. More Editing Options for Picture, Audio & Video
I have always felt that something is missing and this is on big thing. Now and then I have experienced that after uploading a picture I wanted to Crop but I was not able to. We need a few options of real time editing like Crop, Red Eye Removal, Blur, Smudge, Burn etc. some basic and advanced editing options for pictures and at the same time Video & Audio editing tools like we have in the Movie Maker.
3. Drag ‘n Drop exchange of files between Different Channels
This is a big time need now. It is very difficult to navigate pictures between different channels. This sure will make things easy.
4. Watermark Option
I need this bad as a blogger I want to watermark my images so that they say from where they belong.
5. Sync. With Nokia Account
I don’t know if this is possible but I will sure love to have this as it would take a lot of burden off my brain to remember usernames and password. I know some of you might think that a single username and password can be a dangerous thing but im sure some of you great users will come up with a solution. I for that matter have my neuronal circuits in motion to come up with one.
Well this is what I feel will add wonders to this already awesome service. All comments and feedback is welcomed. If you would like to add something that I might have missed please do so.

It might be useful to be able to sort the images by name….

I’d love the watermark! But I think I’d also like to be able to select specific pics like I did in Photobucket to send links as… and the option for JUST the link to the pic, instead of me having to delete it all when I just need the .jpg…
great write up!
