July 17th, 2008 | 6 Comments | by Sehaj | Share

Hello Readers, Our friend Norman from the SymbianWorld comes up with brilliant news that FlipSilent 1.06 is now Signed.

For all of you who are unaware of this 3rd party application i would love to tell you that this application works on phones having Accelerometer (currently in N95, N82, N95 8GB).

This application allows you to just flip your phone and change the profile, it can also mute the incoming call or even hang up the call, it can put the alarm on snooze. It is a very useful and a must have application.

As  you can see in the above screen shots you can change the profile it gives a lot of options and even when you are getting a call you can either mute the ringer or jut hang up the call. So the next time you are sitting in an important meeting all you have to do is Flip your phone.

i am using the 1.05 version, i like it better, it runs totally hidden when the phone start-up, unlike 1.06, which still displays (when you hold the menu button to show list of running apps).

i asked tongren about it and he said symbian doesn’t allow apps to run totally hidden… which is crap (symbian is, not tongren) because there are apps available out there that ran totally hidden on start-up (like Remind Me).
